Song Contest Simulator is an independent fan-made simulator. It lets you choose participating countries, configure a competition, and reveal simulated jury and public votes on a scoreboard. It is not affiliated with Eurovision, the EBU, a broadcaster, or any real competition.

What the simulator does

The contest begins with your choices: the field, the final size, the number of semi-finals, and who votes. Entries receive generated song and artist names. You can adjust their jury and public ratings, choose a scoring style, and optionally enable genre and regional preferences. The voting engine uses those inputs and randomness to produce rankings and allocate points.

The separate Picker sorts the published entry lists through your head-to-head choices. Its output is your personal ranking, not a public poll. Neither tool predicts an official result or accepts real votes for a competition.

How to understand a result

A close final can change on another run. Ratings influence how often an entry appears near the top of a voter's ranking, but points depend on every voter's selections. The Entry Strength screen is a comparison of ratings, not a probability of winning. The voting model guide explains that distinction and the model's limitations.

The browser edition keeps only temporary contest state in the current tab. We do not provide an account system or upload your simulation results to a contest database. Read the privacy policy for information about temporary tab storage and the external services that deliver the website.
