Classic Mode
Automatic Qualifiers
If enabled: Big 5 + host (last Eurovision-style winner), then semi-final qualifiers fill the remaining final spots.
Custom Game Mode
Semi-Final Setup
Choose between 1 and 20 semi-finals. Qualifier spots are split evenly; uneven totals visibly adjust the last semi-final.
Complex Mode
Adds song genres, jury/public genre taste, regional bias, and more varied probability weighting.
Custom Setup
This name becomes the Records tag and a reusable saved game mode.
Choose the final size (maximum 30). Country selection must meet this number.
Scoring Style
Eurovision uses the standard points. UMK triples the public vote points. Melodifestivalen runs two-round semi-finals with a wildcard semi-final.
Melodifestivalen Format
Each semi-final runs two voting rounds. Choose how many countries advance to the Grand Final from each round.
Wildcard Semi-Final
Eliminated countries get a second chance in the wildcard semi-final before the Grand Final.
Grand Final Voters
Classic Melodifestivalen lets only the finalists vote in the Grand Final. Custom voting groups apply in both cases.
Additional Voting Groups
If enabled, you can add non-participating voting countries and custom named juries after country selection.
Voter Source
Choose whether participants also vote, or whether only your custom voting groups decide the result.
Vote Mode
Choose whether the contest uses jury points, public points, or both.
Automatic Qualifiers
If enabled, you will choose which selected countries qualify directly after country selection.
